All work and no pray makes Jack a Dull boy. Heits Point was a different world to all of us. Didnt show up in GPS, Google maps pointed it well before 65 miles to destination. After few initial hiccups Our lord guided us safely to that place that showed "Heits Point", written in as big as a Landscaped A4 sized paper. Its around Half a tank gas distance from Stlouis.

Amidst the Acorn forest and other unknown tall trees there stands the Heits Point Lutheran Ministry. Heits Point is Very far from the city, Very far from the TV and Very far from Cellular reception  yet brought us closer to God. It provided us a Meditative environment which could be savored until Retreat 2010.

We reached there by late afternoon of Oct 19 2009. We started with Registration. We worshiped our lord Jesus Christ with Prayers, Songs and Spiritual Discussions around the theme :

  "Rejoice in the Lord Always ..." Phil 4:4

We concluded our day with the campfire.

Woke up the Sunday morning with a natural alarm sound.

We worshiped our lord with Communion Service at the Chapel.

Pastor Turns 60 ...
We all gave pastor a surprise birthday party. He was surprised. Everyone got his blessings.

Kids showed their Spiritual might on par with the adults through skits and songs.

After a wonderful spiritual weekend we returned back Energized and Rejuvenated.
